Hat-bazaar is the main center of economic activities of the upazila. There are a total of 16 markets in different places of the upazila. They sit in the market once or twice a week, and the rest of the day the place is used as a market. Although not all such products are offered in the market for sale, locally produced vegetables, fish, milk and other perishable goods are traded in the market.
