Rivers

The main rivers are Banshi or Banshai, Lohajang and Jhinai. The canals include Kuchiamara canal, Nayar canal, Moishakhali canal, Maythar canal, Bangra canal, Khasrukhali canal etc. However, in most cases these canals have formed as tributaries of the river and merged into the river again. Among the bills, Balia Bill, Kauljani Bill, Dubail Bill are somewhat larger in size. There are also more small and medium sized bills. Such as- Chapra Beel, Deo Beel, Padma Beel, Chatai Beel, Barkati Beel, Bertha Beel etc.
